Trip description
Around 2 o’clock you will be received aboard the Gouwzee with coffee, tea, and pastry. When everyone is on board we will have a little welcome chat en we will embark. Together we will prepare the sails. After all the sails are raised we turn off the engine and the Gouwzee is moved only by the wind. During this trip we offer you several hot and cold appetizers, these can consist of chicken wings, cheese, salami, cooked prawns, herring on rye and whatever the season offerings are. We do not like to fix ourselves on this, we like to surprise you on the day itself.
By the end of the day, we sail back to Monnickendam. The sails are lowered and we find a nice spot for the bbq tasting. The barbecue is lit and we serve you a delicious buffet. In the meantime, we already have a delicious bowl of beef broth prepared for you. You can enjoy 8 different kinds of fish and meat.
Everything is made into small pieces so that everyone can taste all the different things. We also provide 4 kinds of salads, sauces, en various bread. The bbq tasting is topped off with some fresh fruit and whipped cream.
Again we raise anchor and head to homeport, on the return trip, we enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a treat. Around 5 hours after we left we dock in Monnickendam again.
