What is included in the rental?

You book the ship including two crewmembers, a ship?s dog, gas, water, electricity and harbour fees. Each bed has a sheet and pillow and pillowcase (quilts and towels are available at a small price).

What dishes are served on the Gouwzee?

The Gouwzee has a professionally equipped kitchen at your personal disposal. It is also possible to let us cater your meals. In that case we even do the groceries. For more information please contact us: info@klipperaak.com

Do I need experience for these trips?

Absolutely not!! We can tell you everything you need and want to know during your trip.

How many people can sail on the Gouwzee?

The Gouwzee can accommodate 50 people on daytrips and 29 people during the night.

What destination does the Gouwzee sail to?
You can sail to the IJsselmeer, Markermeer and Waddenzee and several neighbouring waters. The Gouwzee's home harbour is Monnickendam en in July and August it's Den Oever. Depending on the length of your trip and the weather conditions we can visit one or more places. This is always discussed with you, our guests.

Can we sail with the whole family?

Due to its quiet sailing behaviour and large flat deck the Gouwzee is ideal for families. Children up to ten years old have to wear a life vest on deck. We have these available on request.
